At SEB, our Sub Custody Services department plays a vital role in supporting financial institutions and banks by providing access to local securities markets. We deliver custody and asset servicing solutions, ensuring the safekeeping of securities, smooth settlement of transactions, and efficient execution of post-trade services across Nordic markets. While we do not provide investment advice, we help clients manage the operational lifecycle of their investments through services such as securities settlements, corporate actions, income payments, tax processing, shareholder voting, and account administration.

About the role
In this role, you will support SEB’s securities settlement and post-trade services in the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish market. You will manage financial transactions, investigate and resolve operational exceptions, cooperate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements. Your previous experience will help strengthen quality, efficiency, and operational control in an international environment.
You will take ownership of tasks with varying complexity, use financial systems and data to investigate issues, and contribute ideas that improve processes and controls. Your judgement, accuracy, and ability to manage deadlines will help ensure secure and reliable services for our clients.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- A proactive mindset and the ability to learn quickly
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial services, banking operations, or a similar field
- A solid understanding of securities or other financial products and their operational lifecycle, combined with the ability to quickly learn market- and team-specific procedures
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Strong Excel skills, including confidence working with data, formulas, filters, and reconciliation tasks, together with the ability to work effectively across various IT systems
- Experience with automation tools or process improvement initiatives is an advantage
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, international environment.

Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
