Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

This position is part-time with 15h/week.

Job location: Siemensstr. 3, 91301 Forchheim

Your tasks and responsibilities:

- You will join our Digitalization Team within the Finance organization of Siemens Healthineers Diagnostic Imaging and work with one of today's most exciting technology fields: Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents
- You will develop an LLM-based Q&A solution for Finance that enables financial controllers to answer complex business questions quickly and efficiently based on financial data. You will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and actively shape the solution
- You will design and implement AI agents using Python and LangGraph and work across the entire development pipeline, from data integration and processing to the generation of natural language responses
- You will gain hands-on experience in transforming innovative AI prototypes into robust production-ready solutions within a modern development environment
- You will collaborate closely with financial controllers as future end users, understand real business challenges, and translate them into technical solutions at the intersection of AI, Data, and Finance

Your qualifications and experience:

- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- You have solid programming skills in Python and have gained experience in data processing and analysis, for example with pandas
- You have already gained initial practical experience with Large Language Models, such as working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or developing your own LLM-based applications
- You have applied your knowledge successfully in university projects, internships, or personal projects

Your attributes and skills:

- You are eager to apply emerging AI technologies to real-world business use cases
- You are curious about recent developments in Large Language Models and AI Agents and enjoy exploring new frameworks and approaches independently
- You work independently, proactively, and in a structured manner while contributing your own ideas
- You value high-quality results and pay attention to clean, maintainable code, clear documentation, and meaningful comments
- You enjoy collaborating with colleagues from different professional backgrounds and can communicate technical concepts in an understandable way
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. German language skills are considered an advantage but are not required
