Actively shape the next generation of innovative precision climate solutions. In this role, you will drive the development of new technologies and software concepts and support products from feasibility studies and qualification to successful commissioning.
## Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Development of new technologies and testing for applicability in applications/projects for precision air conditioning (water, air) – creation of a corresponding software structure (state machines, internal and external data interfaces, etc.) and the associated code.
- Planning and execution of feasibility studies.
- Joint development of product concepts with other involved technical departments and participation in product development.
- Dimensioning and selection of necessary components / creation of the associated software.
- Creation of specifications.
- Participation in customer-specific product modifications / software design.
- Creation of test protocols and acceptance reports / software qualification.
- Acceptance and testing of prototypes according to the agreed specifications / software qualification.
- Support during product commissioning.
- Support in proposal preparation and claim management.
- Maintenance of the software structure with regard to updates, new requirements, and feasibility, especially for end-of-life scenarios.
## Show your expertise
- Completed university degree (Bachelor's/Master's) or technical training in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in machine and plant engineering, as well as in the development and programming of plant software
- Sound knowledge of PLC programming and control engineering, ideally with B&R and CODESYS systems (WAGO experience is an advantage)
- Experience with industrial communication interfaces such as OPC UA, and preferably CANopen, Profibus, and Modbus TCP
- Fluent German and English skills
