Deputy Manager

Role Objective / Major Purpose of the Job:
To act as a strategic finance partner to business teams by providing financial insights, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, driving profitability improvement, and ensuring effective cost management. The role focuses on enabling data-driven decision-making, improving financial performance, and maintaining financial discipline across functions.

Principal Tasks & Responsibilities:
Partner with business teams to develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Monitor business performance through key financial and operational KPIs.
Analyze profitability, revenue trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities.
Drive cost control initiatives and ensure effective utilization of resources.
Prepare financial models, business cases, and scenario analysis for new initiatives.
Support management with performance reviews, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial outcomes.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, processes, and governance standards.
Identify risks and opportunities through financial analysis and recommend corrective actions.
