The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Solutions Architect to support the development of innovative, differentiated, and executable technical solutions for U.S. Government opportunities. The role requires a combination of enterprise architecture, technical leadership, federal acquisition knowledge, solution development, technical writing, cost awareness, and customer mission understanding.
Responsibilities:
- Capture & Solution Development: Lead or support technical solution development throughout the capture lifecycle. Analyze RFIs, draft RFPs, RFPs, PWS/SOW/SOO documents, evaluation criteria, incumbent environments, customer pain points, acquisition strategies, and competitive intelligence to identify solution requirements and discriminators.
- Solution Architecture: Develop end-to-end architectures integrating capabilities such as enterprise IT, cloud, network modernization, cybersecurity/Zero Trust, ITSM, DevSecOps, data/AI, automation, observability, infrastructure, applications, and end-user services as applicable to the opportunity.
- Requirements Decomposition: Translate Government requirements into solution components, capabilities, work packages, staffing requirements, technologies, processes, deliverables, dependencies, and measurable outcomes. Maintain traceability between requirements and the proposed solution.
- Proposal Development: Develop and contribute to technical volumes, management approaches, solution descriptions, CONOPS, architecture diagrams, graphics, workflows, transition approaches, staffing concepts, technical assumptions, risks, and proposal responses.
- Solution Integration: Coordinate SMEs and functional leads to ensure individual solution components form a coherent enterprise solution rather than disconnected technical approaches.
- Competitive Differentiation: Identify technical strengths, discriminators, innovations, proof points, and customer benefits that distinguish the solution while remaining compliant with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Technology & Partner Evaluation: Assess COTS, GOTS, open-source, cloud, OEM, and partner technologies and determine their appropriate role within proposed solutions. Participate in technical discussions with subcontractors and technology partners.
- Reviews & Presentations: Support solution reviews, Black Hat activities, solutioning sessions, Pink/Red/Gold Team reviews, technical interchange meetings, executive reviews, oral proposal preparation, and customer presentations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
- 10+ years of solution development or related experience as a solution architect with a federal government contractor.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline
- Must have demonstrated experience developing and solutioning, and leading the development and solutioning of winning solutions for new and re-compete business pursuits, capture activities and proposal efforts starting at $100M TCV.
- Must have strong working knowledge and mastery of current technologies and capabilities employed in the Federal Government space, including and not limited to, Cloud, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, and various Software Development methodologies spanning Agile to Waterfall and hybrids thereof.
- Must have experience working front-end solutioning with clients to include assessing needs from requirements (SOW, SOO, PWS, other Draft material), good communication and relationship skills, determining pain points and key client needs, etc.
- Must have participated in, authored and preferably led as a Solution Architect, the development of the Technical and/or Management Volume of large high value proposals for the Federal Government. Use of a Shipley-type proposal approach is required and demonstrated FedSim experience is a bonus.

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$131,800 - $290,000
