About this role

AlphaGov delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.

AlphaGov is engaging a Workplace Assessment Consultant for current workplace climate and culture assessments with public agencies. You will help leaders understand what is working, what is not, and what to change, using confidential interviews, focus groups, and surveys.

We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.

What you'll do

- Design assessment plans, interview protocols, focus-group guides, and survey instruments
- Conduct confidential interviews and facilitate focus groups with employees, supervisors, and leadership
- Analyze interview and survey data to identify themes in communication, morale, leadership, and working conditions
- Review relevant policies, complaint trends, turnover data, and organizational structure
- Write clear, balanced findings and practical recommendations for agency leadership
- Present results and support action planning with leaders and employee groups
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Apply to be considered.
