Position Description
The role of the MV/LV LPM, Dublin South is to support area manager in the following areas:
- CSS Operations Work Scheduling & Planning – The LPM will work with the Area Manager and both CSS Operations Supervisors to plan, schedule and assess outages granted in Dublin South for timber cutting, asset replacements, new connections, customer maintenance, fault work. The LPM will support the Area Manager and Supervisors in assessing the optimal deployment of operators across our work programme each quarter.
- MV System Improvement (SI):
- HV Network Development MV Sis
- MV Network Conversion projects – Dublin South LPM managing Area operations inputs
- MV Feeder split & Operational improvement
- LV System Improvement
- Voltage Complaints – LPM to co-ordinate Dublin South stakeholder management, design and planner collaboration and ensuring we implement any LV SI solutions proposed for any network voltage issues.
- New Connections – The LPM will support the Area Manager Construction in managing Dublin South customer connections.
- Asset Replacement – The LPM will MV substation refurbishments, Magnefix replacements and Minipillar replacements
- Customer Referrals – The LPM will support both area managers in ensuring we meet our customer referral SLAs, maintain a high CSAT score over PR6 and address customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Leopardstown Operational Efficiency – LPM will support area managers monitoring & governing team performance.
The LPM will, as required, project manage skilled teams to deliver projects in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner utilising both staff and external contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to Area Manager Operations, Dublin South
- Transparently coordinate the delivery MV/LV new connections
- Project manage delivery of New Connections, 20kV conversions, and system reinforcement projects at MV & LV
- Implement PMO Project Management Methodology
- Improve cost and productivity performance
- Project manage and lead out delivery teams
- Support Area Managers regularly interacting with key stakeholders such as single customer referrals, large developers/customers, customer impacted by 20kV conversions, local authorities, customer representative bodies.
Experience and Qualifications
- Either a 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.
- 7-10 years years’ relevant experience required
- Understands and applies project management PMO principles
- A proven track record in project managing the delivery of MV/LV projects (LV, 10kV & 20kV) including:
- MV/LV safety policy and procedures
- MV/LV design standards
- Distribution operations outage planning
- Metering
- MV/LV cables and jointing
- Civil works
- Understands the relevant approved Quality Management standards in ESB Networks i.e. Quality Control, Quality Planning and Quality Assurance
- ESB Networks business knowledge
- Knowledge of Network Assets, Network Planning and Continuity
- Knowledge of commercial implications of project delivery

Salary
€71,000 - €84,000 per annum.
