Responsibilities:
- Independent familiarization with Li-ion battery cells and their physical properties
- Research on the current state of the art
- Development of a parametric thermal model for battery cells
- Enhancement of the model into an AI-based surrogate model for large-scale simulations
- Analysis and visualization of measurement data for parameter generation and validation
- Cross-departmental project coordination and communication
Qualifications:
- Enrolled Student in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of Li-ion batteries
- ideally experience with FEM simulations, e.g. COMSOL
- Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
- Strong MS Office skills
- Analytical and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of initiative, motivation, and team spirit
