Perform in-depth quality inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications, identifying and documenting any defects or deviations.

Responsibilities:**

* Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and quality control plans.
* Utilize various measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications and tolerances.
* Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including identifying non-conformances and generating detailed reports.
* Initiate and participate in the disposition of non-conforming materials or products, collaborating with production and engineering teams.
* Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
* Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
* Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and calibrate measurement equipment as required.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
* Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors as needed.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality control processes.

Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
* 3-5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
* Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
* Proficient in the use of various precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, go/no-go gauges, etc.).
* Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., IPC standards, ISO 9001).
* Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
* Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and quality management software.
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
