Essential Functions
- Serves as liaison between the clinical team, physician/physician extenders, diagnostic agencies and sources of referrals for new patients.
- Advocates on behalf of the clinical team by supporting and promoting a team environment.
- Supports and participates in the center's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Program.
- Reports pertinent clinical personnel issues and patient-care areas of concern to the Director of Nursing.
- Supervises and directs licensed and non-licensed nursing employees.
- Directs and supervises the delivery of patient care.
- Reports any significant change in a patient's condition to other clinical team members.
- Routinely conduct chart audits.
- Participates in clinical rounds with medical providers.
- Review physician orders with follow up .
- Address complaints and follow up in a timely manner.
- Participates in the admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
- Provides report for new admissions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Current RN license in good standing with the VA Department of Health Professions or compact state.
- Two years of Nursing management preferred
- Demonstrates excellent clinical, customer service and leadership skills.
- Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
