About the Role
As Manager, Data within the Commercial Excellence team, you will lead a team of 6 analysts responsible for product selection, price competitiveness, and promotional budget optimization across all target markets (PL, CZ, SK, HU). Your primary mission will be driving the strategic transformation of the department-shifting the focus from manual operational execution to high-value business intelligence. Partnering closely with Technology teams to automate core processes, you will establish data-driven frameworks for campaign mechanics, pricing strategies, and ROI forecasting. Beyond the numbers, you will act as a empowering mentor, building a high-trust, engaging culture and driving long-term organizational impact through effective leadership and delegation.
In your daily work, you will handle the following tasks:
- People Leadership & Transformation: Lead, mentor, and re-engage a team of 6 analysts, driving their evolution from operational execution into a strategic "think tank" for the business
- Automation & Efficiency: Partner with Technology teams to optimize and automate manual workflows, shifting team capacity toward high-value analytics
- Pricing & Selection Frameworks: Define selection logic, promotional pricing, and benchmarking tools to maintain top-tier price competitiveness across all regional markets (PL, CZ, SK, HU)
- Campaign & Investment Analytics: Track the end-to-end campaign performance funnel (from listed offers to GMV), evaluating discount effectiveness, ROI, and sourcing efficiency for major events (e.g., Black Week, Allegro Days)
- Forecasting & Strategic Planning: Support business investments through scenario, variance, and forecast analyses against GMV, selection, and budget goals
- Market & Competitor Intelligence: Identify assortment gaps relative to competitors and establish category selection priorities to drive product relevance
- Bridge Between Business & Tech: Translate complex, ambiguous commercial problems into clear execution roadmaps and technical requirements for automated reporting
- End-to-End KPI Ownership: Define and track KPIs for selection quality and investment impact, delivering actionable recommendations directly to senior decision-makers.
