Tigg's Canteen Services is seeking a dependable and motivated individual for a Permanent Full-Time Kitchen Manager position at Cheboygan County Jail in Cheboygan, Michigan.
We're looking for someone with integrity, a strong work ethic, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to work successfully in a structured correctional environment. If you enjoy preparing meals and helping lead kitchen activities, we'd love to hear from you!

👨🍳 What You'll Bring to the Kitchen
As a Lead Cook, you'll help support daily kitchen operations and meal preparation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing meals and assisting with cooking and baking.
- Leading, instructing, and assisting with food preparation activities.
- Following company recipes and established procedures.
- Completing kitchen cleanup and helping maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Working effectively in a structured correctional facility.
✅ What You Need to Qualify
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow company recipes and instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility to work varying days and shifts between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Approval to enter the facility through the required clearance process.
Kitchen or food service experience is a plus, but it's not required! We're happy to train the right person who is dependable, motivated, and ready to learn.
