About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Principal Investigator and Research Manager, the Project Coordinator/Analyst is responsible for the coordination of projects conducted within the Research department. This includes the administration of related projects, support for clinicians, literature reviews, report composition and database management including accessing, linkage and analysis of data derived from clinical, routine and population databases.

Responsible for coordinating and managing clinical research projects and trials, including conducting literature reviews, reviewing best practices, developing study protocols and outcome measures, and preparing reports and Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions. Collaborates with clinicians, sponsors, hospital staff, government agencies, and key stakeholders to ensure study feasibility, compliance, and effective project implementation. Oversee study budgets, resource allocation, participant recruitment and consent, staff education, and research documentation. Collects, manages, links, and analyzes clinical data using databases, spreadsheets, and statistical software to support research outcomes and reporting.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Masters in a health sciences or social sciences discipline (e.g. epidemiology, community/public health, biostatistics or health economics)

- Degree or diploma in a related health profession (e.g. Nurse, Allied Health, Psychology, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be accepted

- Current registration with the relevant professional healthcare licensing organization desirable

- Minimum of two years’ experience in the relevant health profession

- Experience in database management and analysis

- Previous research experience essential

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, email and internet and in at least one statistical analysis software package (e.g. SPSS, Epi-info, SAS, STATA, SYSTAT)

- Proficiency in specialized technology programs related to the study

- Demonstrated clinical and assessment skills related to the scope required for a particular study and patient population (i.e. physical, mental and emotional assessment, etc.)

- Familiarity with health records

- Strong organizational, communication and report writing skills

- Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment

- Long assignment full-time position; 75 hours biweekly

- Approximately 12 months

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Scale Type: RSH209
Hourly Rate: $40.07 - $50.09
Annual Salary: $78,154 - $97,692
