Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. We are searching for the best talent for Polish Operator 1

Purpose : Operates diverse types of machinery in an assigned cell, in order to, produce various types of Medical instruments and implants. Equipment used depends on product being manufactured or operation being performed and may vary from cell to cell or department. Under direction of the cell lead, works to ensure production requirements are met, product quality is maintained, machine maintenance schedules are adhered to and safety rules are followed.

You will be responsible for:

- Operates a variety of equipment used in the manufacture of medical devices in accordance with established manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
- Operations performed depend on cell assignment and the product being manufactured and may include, but are not limited to, cutting raw materials, drilling, milling, bending, deburring, buffing, laser etching, wax injection, dipping, dewaxing, pouring, assembly, packaging, and labeling.
- Equipment used may include, but is not limited to, CNC, hydraulic, pneumatic, CMM, grinding, drag, manual, and automatic equipment, including various types of lathes, mills, grinders, vibratory machines, drill presses, bead blasters, grinding wheels, buffers, bench presses, laser etching machines, assembly equipment, and packaging/labeling equipment. Equipment utilized depends on the product being manufactured or the operation being performed. Operators inspect in-process and finished products for dimensional and cosmetic attributes according to defined specifications. Operators may also assemble, package, and label orthopedic medical devices following established procedures and operate manual and semi-automatic packaging equipment.
- Uses a variety of measuring instruments, including gauges, micrometers, calipers, comparators, pH meters, go/no-go gauges, conductivity meters, visual inspection tools, and digital titrators for chemical analysis.
- Utilizes a range of hand tools, including but not limited to wrenches, screwdrivers, and deburring knives.
- Performs Operator Asset Care activities on a regular basis, including but not limited to checking and replacing coolant, monitoring fluid levels, emptying metal chips, supporting equipment maintenance and breakdown repairs, changing belts, and maintaining process chemicals.
- Completes rework as necessary on products that do not meet specifications and collaborates with other production areas and Cell Leaders to resolve quality-related issues.
- Follows established safety practices and procedures to prevent injury to self and others.
- Understands and complies with all policies applicable to the role while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance.
- Ensures in-process quality checks are completed in accordance with established quality specifications and partners with Quality and Production teams to resolve issues as needed.
- Performs all work in compliance with applicable medical device manufacturing requirements, including FDA QSR, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 standards.
- Completes all required documentation, including inspection records, work instructions, and product traceability documentation, as required by the process.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support business needs.
- Regularly lifts materials weighing between 5 and 25 pounds and occasionally lifts items exceeding 50 pounds.
- Demonstrates the ability to learn, understand, and follow department-specific procedures and training requirements.

Qualifications / Requirements:

- A High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with a minimum of six months of relevant experience considered an asset.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$34,100.00 - $54,395.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).​

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.​

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:​

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year​
