Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review daily journal entries and cash reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Support preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analysis for management review.
- Assist with capital call and distribution processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Review and coordinate investor notices and communications for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
- Draft and respond to investor correspondence while escalating complex matters when needed.
- Manage and maintain investor portal information to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and support special assignments with minimal supervision.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on processes, workflows, and technical accounting matters.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and investors to support smooth engagement delivery.
- Support process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
Qualification s:
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPA license or progress toward certification preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting or fund services experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with accounting platforms such as Investran or similar fund accounting systems preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to support occasional travel (up to 5%) and additional projects as needed.
