Job Description & Summary
The Opportunity

As a Deals - Financial Due Diligence, Senior Associate you will focus on strategic advice and business diligence services for clients navigating mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, with an emphasis on quality of earnings, assets, cash flows, and key deal issues within our Deals practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, build meaningful client connections, mentor junior team members, and manage assigned workstreams while developing your technical skills and business judgment. In this role at PwC, you will use financial analysis, critical thinking, and clear communication to deliver practical insights that support transaction decisions and help clients move through changing deal environments.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing financial statements, cash flow trends, and working capital drivers to support merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions
- Evaluating earnings quality, balance sheet items, and transaction risks across client engagements
- Developing findings from detailed financial review and translating those findings into clear deliverables for client teams
- Managing assigned workstreams across deal diligence projects while balancing timelines, priorities, and shifting client needs
- Applying financial modeling, corporate finance, and valuation skills to support transaction analysis and recommendations
- Using data analysis tools and accounting knowledge to identify trends, exceptions, and key business issues
- Building meaningful client connections and responding to differing viewpoints throughout the engagement process
- Guiding junior team members by reviewing work, sharing feedback, and supporting technical development
- Upholding firm professional standards, independence requirements, and code of conduct expectations across all assignments

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Risk Management/Insurance
- Demonstrating financial due diligence experience across transactions and deal reviews
- Interpreting earnings quality, working capital, and financial statement trends
- Applying critical thinking to complex client situations and data
- Developing client relationships while anticipating team and client needs
- Utilizing financial modeling, valuation, and analytical tools
- Responding to feedback, mentoring junior team members, and growing personal brand

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
