IMEG is hiring a Geographic Information System Analyst in Tallahassee, FL. In this role, you will collaborate with GIS team members on project scope and schedules while maintaining extensive knowledge of Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri) solutions.
You will analyze data and present data visualizations while supporting the development of the firm’s GIS capabilities to meet strategic objectives. You will also work with clients on GIS solutions, project updates, training, and technical support for transportation and bridge work.

What You'll Do
- Design, edit, and develop GIS data for numerous projects.
- Monitor and apply industry practices.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Use ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Online for data visualization, analysis, and application configurations.
- Use mobile applications and GPS units for field collections.
- Perform Drone (UAS) collections.
- Develop and maintain scripts for repetitive processes using Python, R, and Arcade.
- Use and manage related ArcGIS Enterprise components internally and for clients.
- Meet with clients to design GIS solutions, provide project updates, training, and technical support.
- Develop sustainable systems for collecting and managing data.
- Manage necessary hardware and software.
What You'll Bring
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information System (GIS), or equivalent required
Experience
- 2 years of experience minimum required, 5 preferred, with experience in ArcGIS
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience with Esri ArcGIS Platform, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Mobile Applications
- Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays
- Manage and leverage GIS resources to create maps and graphic reports
- Perform technical research and analysis, and coordinate activities
- Both subject matter expert and cross-functional leader
- Scripting, Integration data sets into GIS using Python and R
- LiDAR and Imagery data analysis
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and relational databases
- Configuring online applications, managing the relationship with the client
- Outstanding project management and facilitation skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred
- GISP certification preferred
