We are currently looking for a Corporate Security Intern to join our team in Franklin, TN. This internship provides hands-on experience as a Risk Intelligence Analyst within Nissan's Security Operations Center. The intern will support the monitoring and assessment of immediate and long-term threats to Nissan's people, facilities, and operations across the Americas region. This role offers valuable exposure to corporate security, threat intelligence, emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity activities while working alongside experienced security professionals.
A Day in the Life:
- Conduct daily risk intelligence monitoring and analysis to identify potential threats impacting Nissan operations.
- Research and develop intelligence reports covering emerging risks, security incidents, and regional developments.
- Support the maintenance and updating of the Nissan North America Emergency Response Plan library.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of emergency response and preparedness exercises.
- Collaborate with corporate security and business stakeholders to support risk management and security initiatives.
Who We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Public Safety, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
- Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create concise intelligence reports and briefings.
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to respond to changing business needs and emerging situations.
- Interest in corporate security, intelligence analysis, risk management, emergency response, or business continuity.
- GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
- Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN.
