About Torus

Torus is headquartered in Utah and is expanding manufacturing at our 545,000-square-foot facility in Salt Lake City called GigaOne. We are the world’s first mesh energy infrastructure, uniting communities through resilient, sustainable, and intelligent power. We design, engineer, manufacture, install, and support our systems end-to-end, standing behind them throughout their lifecycle. Torus systems help reduce costs, lower emissions, and protect facilities from outages, while strengthening the security and reliability of the broader utility grid. Torus is committed to American manufacturing, engineering excellence, and building energy systems that last.

Torus has raised over $267 million from investors like Magnetar, Mercado, ICONIQ and Origin Ventures. The investments are helping to accelerate deployment of modular power plants across utilities, data centers, and industrial sectors. This investor confidence reflects the strength of our team, technology as well as the scale of the problem we are solving.

At Torus, you will be part of something larger than a single product or technology. Your work will help build energy infrastructure that supports and strengthens our electrical grid, critical  systems, industry, and communities for decades to come. We value accountability, collaboration, and clear thinking. We are looking for people who want to solve hard problems and build things that matter.

About the Role

The Social Media Manager will own audience growth on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Instagram. Success in this role is measured by more reach, more engagement, more followers, channel by channel. Getting there means understanding what's trending, which formats are working right now, what the algorithm is rewarding, and translating Torus's stories into content that  performs. You also run the channels day to day: scheduling, publishing, and working with our content team to produce channel-specific content. You need to be as comfortable in the weeds of a posting calendar as you are setting a quarterly channel strategy. Above all else, you should have a keen sense of what makes a good story. Torus builds technology that improves how we power our world—we’re looking for somebody who can bring the many stories that stem from this innovation to life.

Responsibilities

- Own audience growth across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Instagram — reach, engagement, and follower growth on each channel is the core measure of this role
- Track platform trends, emerging formats, and what's actually performing, and translate Torus's core stories into those formats, while still upholding brand standards
- Set growth targets, strategy, and KPIs for each channel, and report on progress against them
- Work with our content team to set monthly calendar and ensure adequate coverage across channels
- Own posting cadence and execute day-to-day publishing across all four channels
- Adapt content to fit each platform's native format and tone
- Build reporting to identify what's working and adjust format, cadence, and content mix accordingly
- Ensure our presence on social channels supports our larger company story and position

Required Experience

- 5+ years managing brand social channels, with a specific example of a channel you grew and insight into what drove the growth
- Demonstrated ability to spot a trending format early and adapt it to a brand voice
- A track record of growing audience and engagement on at least one major platform (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, or Instagram)
- Strong writing skills and comfort adapting tone and format across platforms
- Based in Utah, with the ability to travel to our Salt Lake City facility 1–2 times per week

Preferred Experience

- Experience in B2B, energy, climate tech, or another technically advanced  industry
- Experience adapting short-form or trend-driven formats (Reels, short-form video, carousels) for a B2B or technical audience
- Familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable marketing/CRM platform
