The Project Manager is responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of assigned automation projects of moderate scope and complexity, in alignment with project requirements and client expectations. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages approved budgets and schedules, and serves as the day-to-day contact for project stakeholders. The Project Manager works within established processes and approval limits, seeking guidance from senior project leadership on complex technical, contractual, or commercial issues.

Your role in our team

- You will develop project plans, schedules, scope, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders and obtain required approvals; manage assigned projects from initiation through closure using established project management processes

- You will create and maintain project schedules in MS Project, track activities and resource requirements, and monitor project performance against approved scope, schedule, and budget

- You will track project costs and update expenditure forecasts; identify deviations and implement corrective actions within delegated authority, escalating issues requiring additional approval

- You will identify and manage scope changes, document cost and schedule impacts, and coordinate customer discussions and approvals through the established change control process

- You will coordinate with engineering, sales, EHS&S, finance, contract management, customer service, site management, and other functional teams to ensure timely completion of project deliverables

- You will serve as the day-to-day customer contact for project status, deliverables, and issue resolution; organize project and customer meetings, document decisions and action items, and engage technical specialists and senior leadership as needed

- You will maintain project risk and issue logs, coordinate mitigation and resolution activities, and escalate significant or unresolved risks and issues through established channels

- You will coordinate with engineering teams to clarify contractual requirements and track agreed technical deliverables; monitor vendor and supplier performance against specifications and contractual requirements and escalate discrepancies as needed

- You will coordinate project procurement with Supply Chain Procurement, track material deliveries, and work with installation teams to confirm equipment receipt and inventory

- You will coordinate with site managers, environmental teams, and Site Safety Managers to support safety compliance and completion of required safety reports and metrics

- You will follow established quality assurance processes throughout project execution and review project performance at key milestones; document lessons learned and recommendations for continuous improvement at project closure

- You will travel domestically and internationally up to 50%, as required by project and business needs

Your profile

- You have obtained a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

- You have gained 3–5 years of relevant experience in project management, project coordination, or technical project delivery, including responsibility for project scope, schedules, or budgets

- Your CAPM, PMP, or similar project management certification is preferred

- You are proficient in MS Project and the MS Office suite; familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems preferred

- You have experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources for projects of moderate complexity within the warehouse, distribution, material handling, logistics, or automation industry

- You know of system integration project execution processes, dependencies, and project delivery requirements, with experience delivering technical projects or managing defined workstreams

- You have strong project planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities without direct supervisory authority

- You have strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, team coordination, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and support scope and schedule discussions within established approval limits

- You know about project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and resource planning

- You have experience analyzing problems, developing practical solutions, resolving routine issues, and recognizing when guidance or escalation is needed

- You have experience working with cross-functional teams, with experience in matrixed and multicultural environments preferred; demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

- Must possess, or be able to obtain and maintain, all required travel documentation, including a valid passport where international travel is necessary

- Must be able to lawfully enter and exit the United States and other countries required for business travel

- Must not have any legal or regulatory restrictions that would prevent the issuance, renewal, or use of required travel documents, or otherwise limit the ability to fulfill the travel requirements of the role
