The process is simple. There is no cold calling, D2D sales, or upselling involved.

As an Installation Technician, your day will consist of traveling directly to customers homes to complete scheduled security camera installations. As a trusted partner for both Google and Amazon installations as a service, youll be provided with daily appointments and will typically complete 5–7 installations per day.

Our installations are designed to be quick and efficient, most include 1 battery doorbell or exterior Ring style security camera, allowing you to move from one job to the next without lengthy customer interactions. Each appointment should, in most cases, take less than an hour to complete. Youll install the necessary equipment, make sure the equipment is functioning properly, and move on to your next scheduled appointment.

What do you need to be qualified for this position?

A strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, ability to travel to multiple installation locations daily, and a willingness to learn. You do not need a sales background or extensive customer service experience to be successful in this role. We provide select tools/equipment, paid training at $22/hr, and post-training support you will need to become a successful Installation Technician.

The Responsibilities:

- Travel to scheduled residential customer appointments throughout your assigned area

- Install and configure security camera equipment according to company standards

- Test systems to ensure proper functionality before leaving the home

- Troubleshoot basic installation or equipment issues

- Complete approximately 6–7 installations per day

- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

- Accurately document completed installation work

- Provide a brief overview of the installed system to the homeowner when necessary

Qualifications:

- Reliable and dependable work ethic

- Able to work independently and manage a daily schedule

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail

- Willingness to learn and follow installation procedures

- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

- Proof of vehicle insurance (100/300/100 minimum)

- Previous installation, construction, electrical, low-voltage, home security, or technician experience is preferred

This job entails meeting certain physical requirements, including the ability to work above head level, carry loads of 30–50 pounds (such as equipment boxes and ladders), operate power tools, and navigate confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces.
