Summary of Role:

The Customer Quality Engineering (CQE) team provides leadership and technical support on quality and reliability issues to internal and external customers and works closely with the Fab teams to ensure we have robust quality systems and processes to deliver on business commitments. In this role, you will provide technical leadership to drive quality and reliability issues and improvement opportunities to closure. You will also have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and other GlobalFoundries Fabs to drive strategic initiatives that directly impact customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Drive cross-functional teams to address and close all Quality issues raised by clients; contribute to similar in-fab issue resolution

- Effectively communicate status of Quality-related tasks, projects and metrics to upper management, customers, and internal teams

- Lead quality meetings with GF internal teams or with customers

- Work across functional teams in Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, Supply and others, both within Fab 9 and across all fabs

- Establish Standard Work quality-related continuous Improvement activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Serve as focal point for bringing the “voice of the customer” to other Fab 9 teams

- Planning and coordination of customer audits; Follow-up on internal audits CAR closure and ensure effectiveness in corrective actions implemented.

Other Responsibilities:

- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

- Other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Qualifications:

- Education – Engineering or Technology-related bachelor's degree

- Experience - minimum of 4-5 years of diverse relevant skills (Process Engineering, Tech Development, Reliability, Process Integration)

- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing process and quality systems

- Strong communication skills

- Fluency in English Language – both written & verbal
- Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

- Results oriented and focused on quality of work

- Excellent structured problem-solving skills
- Strong presentation and technical writing skills, as well as verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in engineering / STEM related field
- Previous audit experience and/ or experience with IATF16949 or VDA6.3 audit standards
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams and clients
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Expected Salary Range
$85,000.00 - $146,000.00
