Summary of Role:
The Software Engineer will help build an innovative software performance-tuning application for MIPS RISC-V microprocessors. This early-career role contributes across the application stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end simulation and modeling, while supporting customer onboarding, troubleshooting, and developer-focused workflows.
Essential Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of application features that address customer needs, improve workflows, and enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with engineers, cross-functional teams, and customers to understand requirements and identify opportunities to improve application capabilities.
- Apply testing, debugging, and performance-analysis techniques to improve software reliability, performance, usability, and compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions, contribute improvements to code quality and team practices, and support customer onboarding and troubleshooting.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education – Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field from an accredited degree program.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
- Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
- Strong interest in leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support effective decision-making.
- Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on software-development experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, open-source contributions, research, or early professional work.
- Interest in developer tools, application frameworks, desktop or web applications, data visualization, computer architecture, RISC-V, simulation, performance tuning, or low-level software systems.

Expected Salary Range
$72,000.00 - $141,700.00
