Operations Analyst
Job Description The Operations Analyst supports financial reporting and data management for complex client portfolios. In this role, you prepare reports, maintain and input investment data into portfolio accounting systems, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. This position offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience working with financial data. Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc client reporting by preparing accurate and timely financial reports.
- Input, review, and validate investment data within portfolio accounting and reporting systems to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with onboarding new client portfolios and maintaining existing client portfolio data in relevant systems.
- Identify, investigate, and help resolve data or reporting discrepancies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure that portfolio information and reports meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintain organized documentation of data changes, reconciliations, and reporting activities to support audit and review processes.
Essential Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including use of formulas and functions such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and work with large sets of financial or numerical data.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when entering, reviewing, and validating data.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve data or reporting issues.
- Genuine interest in understanding and working with financial data.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to financial reporting and/or investment operations.
- Experience using portfolio accounting or investment reporting tools and similar financial systems.
- Comfort working with technology and learning new reporting platforms and tools.
Work Environment This role is 100% onsite in a Fells Point office location, working closely with a collaborative, team-focused group in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
