About this role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service & Administrative Coordinator to support our shipping and receiving operations. This role is responsible for processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with customers and carriers, and ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time.
### What You'll Do
#### Administrative & Data Processing
Coordinate with freight carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal departments. Enter shipping and receiving information into the company ERP system. Scan and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and office documentation. Create labels, perform data entry, maintain files, schedule activities, and manage email communications. Process carrier and broker invoices and match documentation for payment. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and package distribution.
#### Shipping & Receiving Support
Support shipping and receiving activities by maintaining accurate transaction records. Assist with scale operations and documentation as needed. Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
#### Additional Responsibilities
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and Microsoft Teams calls. Assist with special projects and clerical support as needed. Follow established safety, compliance, and documentation procedures (training provided).
### Qualifications
#### Required
High School Diploma or GED. 1+ years of customer service, administrative, logistics, or office experience. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel. Experience working with an ERP system. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with structured procedures and high-volume administrative tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Eagan, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
