Were looking for a Culinary Chef / Community Cook to join our Culinary Services team and help prepare quality meals our residents can look forward to.
What Youll Do
As a Culinary Chef / Community Cook, youll help prepare and serve meals while ensuring our residents individual nutritional and dietary needs are met. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other menu items
- Following standardized recipes, menus, portion sizes, and special dietary requirements
- Baking breads, rolls, pastries, and other items
- Portioning and serving meals to residents
- Following proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, cookware, utensils, and work areas
- Maintaining food and storage records in accordance with company guidelines
- Monitoring and inventorying kitchen supplies and equipment
- Helping ensure kitchen equipment and work areas remain clean, organized, and functional
- Working alongside your team to create an enjoyable dining experience for our residents

- Is willing to learn food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures

- Is dependable and ready to contribute wherever needed
One year of related cooking or food service experience is preferred.
