Summary/Objective:

This position is to assist the Warehouse Manager in supervising and maintaining efficient and effective warehouse operations. Helping Warehouse Associates when needed and reporting any associate and warehouse issues to the Warehouse Manager. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead a group of associates through daily activities

- Monitor productivity metrics for designated area

- Assists with monitoring verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling materials and keeping warehouse inventory current

- Coordinates with customer service representatives to meet customer demands with rush orders, delivery rates and special requests

- Verifies receipts against purchase orders

- Stocks all goods in appropriate in-bin locations

- Processes customer returns on a daily basis

- Ensures product is stocked and stored in correct locations

- May operate some warehouse equipment: forklift, picker, radio frequency scanner, etc.

- Keeps work area clean at all times

- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Work Experience : 2 years of experience in fast-paced warehouse environment

- Education: High School Diploma

- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office skills

- Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work space; ability to work and handle multiple job assignments which include working in the order picking, operating forklift and other machinery

- Cross-functional skills: Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot processes within other departments

- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team setting; ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor; ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally

- Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to talk and hear, as well as use fine finger dexterity for keyboard and phone; ability to speak and understand clear English; ability to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; ability to repetitively lift and/or move 30-40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 70-100 pounds with or without accommodations; ability to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

- Physical Environment: Fast-paced warehouse environment with ability to operate forklifts, hand jacks and cherry pickers
