Workplace Experience and Event Coordinator-JLL
What this job involves:
As a Workplace Experience and Event Coordinator at JLL, you'll play a key strategic role in managing all aspects of internal meetings, events, and AV support that bring our client's workplace to life. This position sits at the intersection of hospitality, technology, and relationship management—you'll be the go-to person who elevates the customer experience through exceptional service, proactive communication, and meticulous attention to detail. Working as part of the Facilities Management team, you'll build strong partnerships with business units across the organization, managing everything from executive-level meetings to day-to-day conference room operations. What your day-to-day will look like:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with client business units to build trust, understand their unique needs, and consistently exceed expectations for on-site meetings and events
• Manage high-profile meetings and events with senior executive participation, including detailed project planning, AV coordination, and seamless on-site execution
• Consult with business units, executive assistants, and employees to determine event requirements including space selection, physical setup, technical and AV needs, and catering support
• Oversee the conference room calendar and coordinate scheduling based on event requirements, ensuring disciplined planning of recurring meetings and optimal resource allocation
• Manages meeting and event scheduling for large site event spaces and coordination of external vendor responsible for furniture set-ups.
• Provide on-site meeting support and deliver high standards of care during events by anticipating needs and resolving issues quickly and efficiently
• Coordinate feedback from business line stakeholders and attendees to integrate insights into continuous improvement efforts that enhance service delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage new tools, best practices, and innovative ideas to drive operational efficiencies and elevate the overall client experience
Required qualifications:
• HS diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, corporate event management, or related field
• Excellent time management and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally across all organizational levels
• Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and creating outstanding experiences
• Strong ability to multi-task with meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)
• Flexibility to modify schedule to provide support for client events and meetings as needed
Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or proven experience as an event planner or organizer
• Experience working in a service provider or corporate workplace environment
• Experience working with C-suite executives and senior leadership teams
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve problems efficiently and quickly
Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM
Location: Morrisville, NC
