We are looking for
· A self-starter who enjoys creative autonomy and takes initiative.
· Someone who takes their craft seriously, but themselves…not so much.
· A curious teammate who keeps learning and invests in the team’s success.
· Someone who enjoys moving between roles on varied projects and collaborative teams.
The role
As a project architect, you’ll lead day-to-day architectural delivery for a diverse mix of projects, from due diligence and design through permitting, construction administration, and closeout. You’ll work with a collaborative design team to turn client goals into coordinated, buildable solutions, taking ownership of architectural documentation and technical coordination with support from senior staff.
· Develop and coordinate architectural drawings, details, and specifications across project phases.
· Lead code analysis, accessibility review, permitting coordination, and integration of engineering consultant work.
· Coordinate team tasks and milestones, communicate with clients, and work with the project manager to maintain scope, schedule, and budget.
· Participate in construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, site observations, and project closeout.
· Check document quality and consistency, resolve technical issues, and support less experienced team members.
What you bring
· 4–9 years of professional architectural experience and a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in architecture.
· An architectural license in Indiana or your state of residence.
· Proficiency with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp proficiency preferred.
· Ability to plan and detail varied construction types and carry design intent from concepts through technical documentation.
· Experience coordinating consultants, applying codes, and delivering projects; clear communication and organization.
· Experience with adaptive reuse, renovation, and/or historic preservation projects strongly preferred.
Salary within this range will reflect experience, qualifications, and demonstrated project leadership.
