POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Enterprise Platforms for Supply Chain and Operations leads the implementation, optimization, and sustainment of enterprise systems that strengthen Empower’s operational performance and scalability. The role owns platform delivery across ERP, WMS, TMS, manufacturing, and related systems, connecting procurement, inventory, logistics, and demand planning. Operating in Empower’s hyper-growth, highly regulated 503A/503B environment, this manager translates business priorities into integrated technology solutions and accountable execution. The position develops team capability, coordinates delivery with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, and IT, and maintains alignment with applicable regulatory requirements. Success requires strategic thinking, sound judgment, learning agility, and disciplined problem solving to improve visibility, reliability, and process efficiency. The manager applies automation and validated AI insights to improve inventory control and fulfillment while maintaining human accountability and appropriate data controls across supply operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Platform Strategy and Ownership

- Business Alignment: Translate supply chain and operations priorities into platform improvements that support scalable execution, end-to-end visibility, and alignment with Empower’s business objectives.

- Platform Lifecycle: Manage implementation, enhancement, and sustainment of ERP, WMS, TMS, manufacturing, and related systems to maintain dependable capabilities across supply chain operations.

- Implementation Planning: Define implementation objectives, milestones, and dependencies with business and IT partners, coordinating delivery activities and escalating obstacles that threaten agreed outcomes or timelines.

Integration and Operational Performance

- Systems Integration: Coordinate system integration across procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning to improve information flow, process continuity, and visibility into operational performance.

- Process Optimization: Identify workflow constraints and direct system enhancements that improve inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics performance while reducing unnecessary manual effort and rework.

- Forecasting Support: Apply approved AI capabilities to demand forecasting, validating outputs with business partners to improve planning decisions while preserving human accountability, data privacy, and regulatory controls.

Team Leadership and Accountability

- Team Development: Develop team capabilities through mentoring and practical learning opportunities, strengthening enterprise systems expertise, collaborative problem solving, and adaptability to changing business needs.

- Performance Accountability: Set clear expectations for delivery, service quality, and ownership, then address performance gaps with timely feedback and practical actions that reinforce dependable execution.

- Work Coordination: Assign work according to business priorities and team capacity, balancing implementation demands with ongoing system support and resolving competing commitments before delivery suffers.

Business Partnership and Regulated Operations

- Stakeholder Partnership : Partner with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, and IT to clarify requirements, resolve competing needs, and maintain shared ownership of platform-enabled business outcomes.

- Regulatory Alignment : Coordinate with business and IT partners to align platform implementations and enhancements with applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining established controls throughout operational changes.

- Performance Reporting : Communicate platform priorities, delivery progress, and operational results clearly to stakeholders, using analysis to explain issues, recommend improvements, and support informed management decisions.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

- Strong knowledge of ERP, WMS, TMS, and manufacturing platforms, including integration considerations across procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning.

- Analytical and strategic planning skills to assess complex operational issues, prioritize platform improvements, and connect system performance with supply chain outcomes.

- People leadership skills in coaching, setting expectations, coordinating work, and communicating across functions to build capability, accountability, and consistent delivery.

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to analyze information, document priorities, and communicate delivery progress accurately.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- At least 10 years of experience managing or administering ERP, WMS, TMS, or related enterprise systems within supply chain or operations required.

- At least 5 years managing teams supporting supply chain or operations systems, with demonstrated success developing employees and establishing performance accountability required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

- Experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with demonstrated understanding of end-to-end processes and collaboration between business and technology teams required.
