Chicago (Ravenswood) – After-School Nanny / Family Assistant
A family in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive person to provide after-school support for their two children, ages 14 and 17. This role combines local transportation for the kids with household assistance to help keep the family’s busy afternoons and evenings running smoothly.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Driving the children to and from school activities and other local destinations
- Supervising homework as needed
- Running grocery trips and other family errands
- Preparing dinner and assisting with meal preparation
- Folding laundry and keeping up with dishes
- Following a household task list and helping maintain an organized home
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, organized, and an excellent communicator. Someone who can work independently, follow directions, and take initiative with household tasks will thrive in this role.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, starting at 3:30 PM
- End time varies between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM depending on the children's activities
- Approximately 15+ hours per week on average, with occasional later hours
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Friday, June 18, 2027
A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required. A family vehicle will be provided for transporting the children.
