In this position, you will establish and lead a newly formed team responsible for Data Platform Level 1 (L1) support and the development of a unified Data Platform Super Agent within AllianzGI’s Data Platform Area.

The role combines product ownership, operational support leadership, and platform integration expertise to build a central “front door” to the data platform. This includes ownership of L1 support processes, as well as the design and implementation of a “Google-like” human interface and a machine-to-machine (MCP) interface enabling seamless access to data products, metadata, lineage, and platform services.

You will play a key role in driving data platform adoption, usability, and operational excellence, working closely with Data Platform teams, Data Product teams, Enterprise Data Office, and business stakeholders.

This position will be based in Frankfurt.

What you will do

- Establish and lead the ODP Data Support function, including design and implementation of processes, SLAs, governance, and continuous improvement of support operations with close alignment across the data value chain including IDS
- Own the end-to-end incident and service request lifecycle, ensuring effective intake, triage, resolution, and escalation to L2/L3 teams while maintaining high user satisfaction
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Data Platform Super Agent, ensuring alignment with Data Platform strategy and stakeholder needs
- Deliver a unified “Google-like” access layer enabling intuitive discovery and interaction with data products, metadata, lineage, data quality, and platform services
- Establish and evolve machine-to-machine (MCP/API) interfaces to enable applications and agents to programmatically access platform capabilities
- Drive the integration of Data Platform capabilities (e.g., data catalogue, business glossary, lineage, data quality, data products) into a consistent and seamless user experience
- Collaborate closely with Data Platform teams, Data Product owners, and Enterprise Data Office to ensure alignment on standards, metadata quality, and platform usability
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing cross-functional team, fostering a product-oriented, service-driven, and agile delivery culture

What you bring

- Strong experience in data platforms and data management, including data catalogue, metadata, lineage, and data quality concepts
- Proven experience in product ownership and/or service operations (L1/L2 support), with ability to balance run and change
- Solid understanding of IT Service Management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and incident, problem, and request management processes
- Experience with API-first architectures and platform integration, enabling seamless system-to-system interaction
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven interfaces, search technologies, or knowledge systems, ideally in a data or platform context
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, and governance functions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills in English both written and spoken, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-relevant outcomes
