Software Engineer III

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer III to join our team!

This role supports the GHOSTGEM program, developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting a suite of mission software applications. The engineer will implement, test, and integrate Java and Spring-based services with COTS and FOSS products, packages, and libraries, deploying containerized workloads to Kubernetes using Helm.

Qualifications:

- Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph

- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 5 years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 7 years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR

- 9 years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills + Experience :

- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools

- Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python

- Recent software development experience using Java

- Recent software development experience using the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Integration

- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL

- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd

- Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes

- Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environment

- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka

- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and GitLab CI

- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools including Ansible

- Experience using Git Source Control System

- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
