Working Carpentry Foreman
Location: Southern New Hampshire – Within a 1-Hour Radius of Nashua, NH
Skilled Trades Partners is looking for an experienced Working Carpentry Foreman to lead crews on construction projects throughout Southern New Hampshire. This is a hands-on position for someone who can manage daily jobsite activities, oversee carpentry work, and work alongside their crew to keep projects running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise carpentry crews on active construction sites.
- Perform hands-on carpentry work, including framing, installations, and finish work as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and workflow to keep projects on schedule.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and project requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Monitor productivity and help resolve jobsite issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Carpentry Foreman or Lead Carpenter.
- Strong hands-on carpentry skills and the ability to lead by example.
- Knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and jobsite safety.
- Ability to read blueprints and coordinate work effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within approximately one hour of Nashua, NH.
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
