APQP Engineer - EV
A purpose driven role for you
The APQP Manager is responsible for leading, executing, and overseeing the Advanced Product Quality Planning process from the initial concept phase through to successful launch and mass production. This role ensures that all new products, or major modifications to existing products, meet strict customer quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal manufacturing benchmarks. The APQP Manager collaborates closely with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT)—including Design Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Sales—to mitigate risks, eliminate defects, and ensure a flawless product launch.
A Day in the life

This role drives cross-functional risk mitigation by facilitating DFMEA reviews, ensuring DVP&R execution, and deploying field failure lessons (PTDB) into new designs for strict warranty prevention. Internal collaboration is critical, partnering with CIT to align on premium EV cosmetic specifications, with Product Planning to translate Voice of Customer (VOC) into measurable "Perceived Quality" covering fit-finish, NVH, and EV-specific features, and with Procurement to track supplier APQP and PPAP milestones.
