We are looking for a reliable, skilled Butcher / Meat Cutter to join our clien's team in Spring, TX for immediate hire. If you take pride in precise cuts, high-quality meat preparation, and delivering great service to customers, we want to hear from you!

We offer a stable, fixed daily shift from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM with flexible scheduling options for your days off.

Schedule & Availability Requirements

Daily Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Work Week: Option to work 5 or 6 days per week based on your earnings goals and preference.

Weekend Requirement: Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (our peak days).

Days Off: Your 1 or 2 days off per week will be scheduled between Monday and Thursday .

Key Responsibilities

Break down, trim, cut, and grind beef, pork, poultry, and other meats to quality standards and customer specifications.

Prepare fresh display cases, ensuring proper arrangement, labeling, and price tagging.

Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to retail customers, offering recommendations and custom cuts upon request.

Inspect food products to ensure freshness, safety, and high quality.

Maintain strict sanitation and safety standards; clean and sanitize cutting areas, machinery, tools, and storage units daily.

Properly store meats at correct temperatures and track inventory as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Prior experience as a butcher, meat cutter, or in a meat department role preferred (training available for candidates with strong foundational knife skills).

Skills: Knowledge of meat cuts, trimming techniques, and safe operation of butchery equipment (saws, grinders, slicers, knives).

Certifications: Texas Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in cold environment environments (walk-in coolers).

Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to working the required weekend shifts.
