About this role
Responsibilities-
Manage the complete Procure-to-Pay lifecycle (Requisition → Purchase Order → Goods Receipt → Invoice → Payment)
Oversee high-volume invoice processing with focus on; 3-way matching (PO, GRN, Invoice); Non-PO invoices and expense processing
Review, validate, and process vendor invoices in ERP systems (SAP, D365, Medius, Concur, Oracle, etc.)
Perform 3-way matching (Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, Invoice)
Identify discrepancies and coordinate with procurement or vendors for resolution
Ensure proper accounting treatment and coding (GL, cost centres, tax codes)
Manage vendor relationships and serve as escalation point for critical issues
Perform vendor reconciliations and statement analysis
Handle urgent/exception payments with proper approvals
Monthly monitoring of AP close such as Accruals and provisions, GR/IR Recon, vendor balances etc
Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, and Business teams for seamless operations
Maintain audit-ready documentation for all transactions
Identify risks, control gaps, and implement mitigation strategies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in AP/P2P processes
Key Skills & Competencies-
1. Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and P2P processes
2. Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, D365, AX2012, Medius, Blackline, Mailbox handling, Concur etc.)
3. Effective communication and stakeholder management
4. Good understanding of accounting principles
5. Analytical skills and attention to detail
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management
7. Problem-solving and issue resolution capability
8. Ability to handle high-volume transactions in a deadline-driven environment
9. High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
10. Intermediate knowledge level on MS office
11. 5–10 years of experience in AP/P2P
