Sr Engineer -Software Quality Assurance

· Responsible for executing end-to-end progression and regression testing for complex hardware and software systems.

· Responsible for validating new features while ensuring existing functionality remains stable and unaffected.

· Responsible for designing, maintaining, and executing test scenarios based on product requirements and business workflows.

· Responsible for identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying software defects through resolution.

· Responsible for analyzing logs, databases, and system behaviour to investigate and isolate issues.

· Responsible for reproducing reported customer and internal issues and providing detailed analysis to development teams.

· Responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining generic and customer-specific test environments.

· Responsible for preparing and maintaining QA deliverables including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.

· Assists in release validation activities and quality sign-off processes.

· Assists in sprint planning, refinement sessions, and other Agile team activities.

· Assists development teams by providing product quality feedback and risk assessments.

· Works closely with Product Management, Development, DevOps, and Support teams to ensure release readiness.

· Emphasis on product quality, system reliability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of testing practices.

· Emphasis on proactive risk identification and early defect detection.

Emphasis on ownership, accountability, and thorough investigation of complex issues

· Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

· Hands-on experience testing multidisciplinary systems combining software and hardware components.

· Proven experience executing progression and regression testing cycles.

· Strong experience with defect management and troubleshooting methodologies.

· Experience testing APIs, integrations, and end-to-end business workflows.

· Experience working with SQL databases and executing database validations.

· Experience working in Windows-based environments.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.

· Ability to analyze application logs and system behavior to identify root causes.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Experience working in cross-functional Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferable :

· Experience testing cloud-based solutions, preferably in AWS environments.

· Familiarity with communication protocols and distributed systems.

· Experience with risk-based testing methodologies.

· ISTQB, SQA, or equivalent QA certification.

· Experience working with customer-specific deployments and environments.

Knowledge of release validation and production-readiness processes
