About this role
On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekdays
Weekday evenings. Work from home between visits. Make a meaningful impact.
Looking for an RN opportunity that offers flexibility, independence, and a schedule that keeps your weekends free?
The Care Team Hospice is seeking a compassionate and experienced On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours support to hospice patients and families.
This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working independently, making clinical decisions, and providing personalized, one-on-one patient care without managing a traditional daytime caseload.
When you're not actively responding to patient needs or completing visits, you can remain at home while available for on-call responsibilities. You'll have the autonomy to manage patient needs while being supported by an experienced interdisciplinary team.
We're looking for a dependable, clinically confident RN who can respond to changing patient conditions, provide symptom management, and offer reassurance to patients and families when they need it most.

- Four overnight on-call shifts per week
- Coverage concludes Friday at 8:00 AM
- No Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday on-call coverage
- Combination of scheduled patient visits and on-call responsibilities
- Work from home when not actively responding to patient needs in the field
