Project Controls & Financial Stewardship

- P&L Management: Manage the full financial lifecycle of internal investments, ensuring strict budget adherence and optimal allocation of capital.
- Preconstruction Planning: Oversee feasibility analysis, budgeting, value engineering, and risk assessments, ensuring strong stage-gate discipline prior to authorization.
Operational Oversight & Governance
- Construction Management: Lead teams responsible for site management, constructability reviews, site logistics, and labor productivity.
- Vendor & Risk Governance: Oversee prime contractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards and proactively mitigating risks to the critical path.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a zero-incident safety culture and ensure total compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & People Leadership
- Executive Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership and government customers, delivering transparent, data-driven reports on program health.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Real Estate, Engineering, Operations, SHE, Security, Finance, and Procurement to align project objectives.
- Team Development: Lead and develop high-performing construction management teams across geographies, establishing clear development pathways and succession planning.
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Self-Direction: The ability to drive results with high initiative and minimal guidance.
- Analytical Rigor: A data-driven approach to problem-solving and performance measurement.
- Decisiveness: Confidence in making high-stakes decisions regarding construction formats and resource allocation.
- Collaboration: The ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and executive financial stakeholders.
