We are seeking Junior Business Resilience professionals to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
As an Analyst in our Resilience, Crisis & Reputation team, you’ll advise clients on how to prepare for, respond to, and recover from high-impact events, helping them navigate uncertainty and emerge stronger from disruption. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, risk management, IT resilience, communications, and organizational resilience, supporting clients in building robust capabilities that protect their people, operations, reputation, and stakeholder trust.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Build Resilience: Support clients in defining critical services, systems, data and developing strategies, objectives, frameworks and measures to ensure continuity across their (IT) landscape, critical business operations and supply chains.
- Anticipate & Assess: Help organizations identify and evaluate risks that could trigger crises, using data-driven insights and strategic analysis, including IT and business continuity and reputational risk assessments.
- Crisis Preparedness: Support clients in designing crisis management governance, plans, response protocols, crisis communication plans and strategies that minimize impact and protect reputation.
- Communications & Reputation: Develop key messages and stakeholder engagement strategies that protect brand value and maintain trust, while ensuring consistent, authentic, and strategic communication with media, employees, customers, and the public.
- Technology & Data: Bridge the gap between IT management and operations in areas such as e-vaulting, backup & recovery, replication, redundancy, and failovers, using technology solutions and data insights to enhance resilience capabilities and decision-making.
- Testing & Improvement: Contribute to building stable and secure environments through analyses, communication audits, scenario planning, training sessions, media training, stress tests, debriefs, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Response & Recovery: Guide clients through crisis response and post-crisis recovery, translating results into solutions that enhance the resilience, reputation, and stakeholder trust of organizations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with leadership teams, boards, and key stakeholders to align on resilience priorities and drive organizational change.
What We Are Looking For
If you’re a professional with an academic background in STEM, engineering, risk management, computer science, or social sciences, with a passion for resilience, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, you may be the perfect fit for this role.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Background: A completed Master’s degree in STEM, engineering, risk management, computer science , international relations , security studies, social sciences, communication sciences, public administration, or another relevant field. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree may also be considered, provided they have completed specialized training in business resilience or related topics.
- Languages: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of additional official EU languages (e.g., German, French, Italian, or Dutch) is considered an asset.
- Resilience Mindset: Understanding of how organizations build and maintain resilience in the face of disruption.
- Keen to Learn: You’re curious, adaptable, and excited to discover new approaches to resilience and crisis management.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess complex situations, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships, collaborate across functions and organizations, and engage with different stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Creative, pragmatic approach to addressing organizational challenges.
Bonus Qualifications
- Relevant experience: Internships, professional experience, or academic experience in areas such as crisis management, business continuity, risk management, strategic communications, public relations, reputation management, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or IT Disaster Recovery would be considered a plus.
- Professional certifications: Certifications from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), system administration, IT Disaster Recovery, information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA), or ISO Management Systems are considered an advantage.
- Crisis and reputation management: Certifications in crisis communication, reputation management, or related fields are a plus.
- IT infrastructure and technology: Knowledge of networks, IT infrastructure, IT Disaster Recovery, and emerging technological trends and developments in IT Disaster Recovery is considered an asset.
