Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.
Overview:
Paramount is creating a new senior role to build and lead its global fashion and cultural partnerships capability. Reporting to the Head of Creative, the VP will serve as a strategic creative partner to Commercial, Franchise, Studio, and other key teams.
The role will use fashion, design, and cultural partnerships to elevate Paramount’s global consumer products, experiences, and brand value, with opportunities spanning fashion, design, food, hospitality, music, and experiential. This is a highly relationship-driven, culturally fluent, editorially minded role for an executive who understands both the fashion industry and entertainment—and can credibly operate at the intersection of the two.
The role is focused on selective, strategic, fashion-forward and culturally meaningful partnerships that elevate Paramount’s creative reputation and generate earned reach and strategic business value. Softlines licensing, retailer/category management, style guide production, and high-volume licensee administration are outside the scope of this role and sit within other areas of the organization. The ideal partnerships may be fashion, design, food, hospitality, or experience-led, but all should share a common standard: taste, cultural credibility, creative integrity, strategic intent, and meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
- Build Paramount’s Cultural Partnership Platform
Develop and lead a high-profile cultural partnership strategy across Paramount’s iconic catalog and current/upcoming slate
- Create selective, high-taste partnerships that generate earned media, cultural relevance, and long-term brand value
- Identify and cultivate relationships with leading fashion designers, brands, cultural institutions, culinary partners, and experiential collaborators
- Establish the creative framework and standards that ensure partnerships are coherent, intentional, and distinctly Paramount
- Lead Partnerships Across the Slate
Embed fashion and cultural partnership thinking early in the development and marketing process—not after launch
- Develop partnership strategies by title in collaboration with Commercial, Franchise Marketing, Studio, and other stakeholders
- Build and manage a global pipeline of culturally relevant partners across fashion, design, food, hospitality, music, and experiences
- Lead creative outreach, partnership development, creative direction, and launch execution
- Ensure partnerships protect and enhance the creative integrity and ambition of Paramount’s IP
- Cross-Functional & External Leadership
Serve as the senior creative advisor on cultural positioning and partnership strategy
- Partner closely with Commercial, Franchise Marketing, Studio, Business Affairs, and IP owners to move opportunities forward effectively
- Represent Paramount with senior leaders across fashion, design, luxury, entertainment, and culture
- Bring a sophisticated point of view on emerging cultural trends, shifting luxury dynamics, and where authentic influence and credibility live today
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience collaborating with high-end brands
- Senior executive with deep credibility and relationships across fashion, luxury, design, culture, and/or entertainment
- Proven track record creating high-profile brand partnerships that drive cultural relevance and earned media
- Strong creative instincts combined with commercial sophistication
- Exceptional relationship builder and negotiator who can operate comfortably with designers, founders, creatives, studio executives, and business leaders
- Deep understanding of global cultural trends and the evolving intersection of fashion, entertainment, and consumer culture
- Able to balance ambition and taste with business objectives, operational realities, and brand protection
