Job Description
We are hiring Commercial Landscapers to join a crew working on commercial landscaping and prevailing wage site work projects. Employees will meet each morning at the designated location in Cumberland, RI, and ride with the crew to job sites.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with landscaping experience who are comfortable working outdoors and performing physical labor.
Responsibilities:
- Operate riding mowers and other landscaping equipment.
- Weed whack and trim grass around buildings, sidewalks, and landscaped areas.
- Perform leaf cleanup, blowing, raking, and general property maintenance.
- Assist with commercial landscaping and site work projects.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Load, unload, and transport landscaping materials and equipment.
- Follow job site safety procedures and work as part of a crew.
Requirements:
- Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred.
- Experience operating riding mowers and weed whackers is a plus.
- Must be comfortable with physical labor and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a crew.
- Must be able to meet at the Cumberland, RI location each morning and travel with the crew to job sites.
Pay & Schedule:
- Prevailing wage rates apply to qualifying work and classifications on applicable projects.
- Pay rate: $25-27/hr
Location & Transportation:
Daily meeting point in Cumberland, RI.
Transportation from the meeting point to job sites is provided with the crew.
