ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY

LoveShackFancy, founded in 2013 by Rebecca Hessel Cohen, is a global fashion, beauty, childrenswear, accessories, home, and lifestyle brand celebrated for its romantic, vintage-inspired aesthetic and cult-like community. Known for its immersive, whimsical interiors, the brand has grown to 25 boutiques across the U.S. and London. Signature ruffles, pink, and bows anchor the collections, while storytelling and pioneering community-driven experiences have shaped LoveShackFancy into more than a fashion label—it’s a shared lifestyle movement. Coveted collaborations include Victoria’s Secret PINK, Gap, Target, Stanley, Pottery Barn, Bogner, and more. In 2023, LoveShackFancy launched Beauty exclusively at Sephora, inviting millions into its rose-colored world of whimsy and celebration.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Project Manager, Product Development & GTM, to run our fragrance and candle launches from concept to shelf and through go-to-market. You'll be the day-to-day contact for our turnkey development partner, write product development briefs, review artwork, samples and final product, and keep internal teams and consultants on schedule.

It's a hands-on role on a lean, growing team, ideal for someone with a strong eye, a good nose and a love of timelines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Launch & GTM management

- Project manage every launch from brief to go-to-market and manage the master launch calendar

- Project manage and track the team's GTM readiness across marketing, retail and DTC (assets, item setup, inventory and retailer deadlines), keeping internal teams, consultants and partners on schedule

- Run the weekly launch meeting and design review; coordinate handoffs and flag risks early

- Capture post-launch learnings and keep clear project documentation

Product development partner management

- Be the day-to-day contact for our turnkey development partner on product, timelines, quality and orders

- Give clear direction and feedback through every development round

- Run regular status calls with the partner

- Support supplier and packaging vendor follow-up

- Escalate timeline, cost and quality issues to the General Manager

Review & compliance

- Review every round of artwork, formula submissions, pre-production samples and final product

- Recommend approval only when submissions meet the brief for performance, quality and brand standards

- Work with the design team on packaging: briefs, specs and dielines, manufacturable and retailer-ready

- Manage the naming gate: trademark and regulatory checks

- Ensure all testing and compliance is completed and documented (FDA, EU, IFRA, MoCRA)

- Gather and maintain all product development documentation

SKUs, POs & inbound

- Create new SKUs and maintain specs and item data across systems

- Place and track POs and component orders, securing capacity to hit launch dates

- Track inbound inventory against each PO and flag shortfalls

- Manage pre-launch samples for retailer meetings, PR and shoots

Product & creative support

- Forecast fragrance and product trends, keeping a finger on the pulse of what's next and spotting whitespace early

- Turn creative vision into clear briefs for every launch

- Write product development briefs: inspiration, olfactive family, target notes, format and competitive benchmarks

- Support the category and olfactive roadmaps

- Contribute to blue-sky innovation ideas

- Build concepts, ingredient stories and moodboards with the team

- Bring product details to storytelling, copy and shoot concepts, and check them for accuracy

- Create product sell sheets and internal launch communications

Costs & budget

- Negotiate COGS with our development partner and suppliers

- Track COGS against targets and the product development budget

- Partner with team on production volumes and timing

- Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- A strong project manager who has run launches from brief to shelf across teams, consultants and manufacturers

- 3 to 5 years in brand-side product development, ideally fragrance or home fragrance

- Experience working with a turnkey or full-service manufacturer

- Product development experience for international markets

- Strong olfactive vocabulary for briefing and feedback

- A sharp eye for artwork, packaging and sample review

- A finger on the pulse of fragrance and beauty trends

- Clear, firm communicator who can hold partners to deadlines

- Experience with brands that sell in Sephora

NICE TO HAVE

- A creative eye for concepts, moodboards and storytelling

- Experience at a growing, founder-led brand
