About this role

Help organizations navigate change with confidence.

When a new firm joins Savant, technology is more than hardware, software, and systems.

It's how people access the tools they rely on every day. It's how teams stay connected. It's how employees begin building confidence in what comes next.

As our M&A Integration Project Manager , you'll lead the planning, coordination, and execution of technology integrations for firms joining Savant through mergers and acquisitions. You'll work alongside firm leaders, technology vendors, operations teams, and employees at every level to create a transition experience that is organized, thoughtful, and seamless.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys project management, relationship building, problem solving, and travel. Success in this role requires equal parts organization, communication, adaptability, and ownership.

In this role, you'll:

Lead complex technology integration projects

- Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously from discovery through system cutover

- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation strategies

- Coordinate activities across internal teams, external vendors, and newly joined firms

- Ensure projects stay on track, communicate risks proactively, and drive resolution when challenges arise

Serve as a trusted advisor and communicator

- Build relationships with stakeholders from front-line employees to executive leadership

- Facilitate discovery meetings to understand technology environments and business processes

- Translate technical concepts into language that diverse audiences can easily understand

- Help guide leaders and employees through change with confidence and clarity

Support successful onsite transitions

- Travel to newly joined firm locations to oversee technology cutovers and employee onboarding

- Coordinate equipment deployment, software implementation, vendor transitions, and employee training

- Provide hands-on support and leadership during critical transition periods

- Ensure employees feel informed, supported, and prepared throughout the process

A couple things to note:

- Location: We are initially focusing on candidates within the Rockford, Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee corridor, including surrounding communities. Proximity to Rockford is preferred because occasional in-person collaboration, training, equipment preparation, and other hands-on responsibilities will take place at our headquarters.

- Work model: This is a flexible position with periodic in-person work in Rockford. Daily office attendance is not expected, but candidates should be able to travel to Rockford when business needs require.

- Travel: Travel is a meaningful part of this role. Integrations often require onsite support across the country. While much of the travel is planned in advance, flexibility is important, as business needs can occasionally require short-notice travel.

- Schedule: Technology cutovers can include evening and weekend work. A common onsite schedule may run from Thursday through Monday or Tuesday.

- Technology focus: This is not a deeply technical engineering role. We're looking for a strong project leader who can bring together people, processes, vendors, and technology to deliver successful integration outcomes.
