Renewal Account Manager | Drive ARR. Own Growth. Shape Customer Success.
The Opportunity
Are you a commercially driven SaaS professional who thrives on winning renewals, protecting ARR, and uncovering growth opportunities?
We’re looking for an ambitious Renewal Account Manager to take full ownership of the renewal and expansion journey across a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise customers.
This is not a passive account management role. You will be at the forefront of our recurring revenue strategy — identifying renewal risks before they become problems, leading high-value commercial negotiations, protecting ARR, and turning renewal conversations into opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and expansion.
If you are energized by targets, confident in commercial conversations, highly proactive, and motivated by measurable results, this is an opportunity to make a direct and visible impact on business growth.
🔥 What You’ll Own
Own the number: Take end-to-end accountability for renewal performance, revenue retention, and expansion across your assigned customer portfolio.
Drive renewals: Develop and execute aggressive, account-specific renewal strategies that protect recurring revenue and maximize retention.
Win commercial negotiations: Lead pricing, contract, proposal, and renewal discussions with customers and partners to achieve strong commercial outcomes.
Hunt for growth: Identify and convert upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities, increasing customer lifetime value and recurring revenue.
Stay ahead of risk: Proactively identify churn risks, understand the root cause, build mitigation plans, and mobilize internal teams before risks escalate.
Create customer value: Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders, understand their business priorities, and position solutions that deliver measurable value
Accelerate SaaS adoption: Help customers transition from perpetual models to SaaS subscriptions, driving long-term recurring revenue growth.
Think commercially: Use customer usage, licensing trends, contract milestones, and business data to shape renewal and expansion strategies.
Drive execution: Partner closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Finance, Operations, Legal, and other teams to ensure every renewal is executed efficiently and professionally.
Own the forecast: Maintain a highly accurate 180-day rolling renewal forecast, providing leadership with clear visibility of revenue, risks, and opportunities.
Raise the bar: Continuously identify ways to improve renewal processes, forecasting, customer engagement, and commercial performance.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t wait for renewals to happen — you make them happen.
You bring:
Minimum 5 years of experience in renewals, customer success within SaaS/software company.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
A proven track record of hitting or exceeding renewal, retention, and recurring revenue targets.
Strong experience managing mid-market and/or enterprise customer relationships and commercial negotiations.
Deep understanding of SaaS, subscription models, recurring revenue, licensing, retention, and expansion strategies.
A strong commercial instinct — you naturally look beyond the renewal to identify where the next dollar of revenue can come from.
Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders from operational teams through to senior decision-makers and executives.
Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with the ability to turn customer and commercial data into action.
A proactive mindset and the ability to spot risks early, move quickly, and take ownership.
Exceptional attention to detail, CRM discipline, and pipeline management skills.
Proven ability to multitask, manage priorities, and thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Working experience in an MNC is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms; Power BI experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; an additional Southeast Asian language is an advantage.
Willingness to travel regionally when required.
