About Our Family
We are a busy, active family of five living in a warm and welcoming home in Woodbury, Minnesota. Both parents work demanding full-time roles, and our three kids keep life full and moving. Our household runs at a high energy level — there are lacrosse bags, ski gear, cheerleading schedules, and a very loved (and non-shedding) Cavapoo weaving through it all. We are easygoing and genuinely appreciate the people who show up for our family. We've had wonderful in-home support for years, and as our kids have grown into more independent teenagers, we're ready for the next chapter: a trusted household manager who can step in and keep things running smoothly without being asked twice.
We love sitting down to dinner together, even when everyone's schedule pulls in different directions. We rely on good systems, a stocked kitchen, and someone who cares about the details the same way we do. If you thrive in a lively, family-centered home and find satisfaction in making a household hum, you'll feel right at home with us.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You are the kind of person who walks into a room and naturally notices the little things that make a big difference. You don't need a daily checklist or someone looking over your shoulder. You're thoughtful, proactive, and take pride in anticipating needs, creating organization, and helping a household run smoothly. You bring warmth, reliability, and a genuine enjoyment of being part of a family's everyday life.
You have a natural connection with kids and enjoy being part of their daily routines. Whether it's making sure water bottles are filled, snacks are packed, or everything is ready before the kids head out the door, you find satisfaction in the thoughtful details that make a family's day easier. Whether your experience comes from professional household management or years of managing your own home, what matters most is your initiative, attention to detail, and genuine care for the people around you.
Key Responsibilities
Family Support

- Maintain a calm, warm presence during the morning hours and support an easy, organized start to the school day
Meal Support
- Plan, prep, and cook four dinners per week (Monday through Thursday) with no dietary restrictions
- Wash and cut vegetables and fruit at the start of each week so healthy snacks are ready to grab throughout the day
- Coordinate grocery needs via Instacart or grocery pickup
- Handle kitchen clean-up and countertop maintenance
Laundry & Linens
- Wash and dry approximately 3 loads of children's clothing per week
- Wash 2 loads of household towels per week (more during summer pool season)
- Rotate and launder children's bed linens on a biweekly basis
- Keep laundry areas tidy and well stocked
Household Organization & Maintenance

- Prep the home on Wednesdays ahead of the biweekly cleaning team's visit
- Reorganize the pantry and fridge as needed, especially after large supply runs
- Create and maintain household organizational systems and routines
- Track and replace household basics like batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries
- Assist with packing prep for family trips (approximately 5 to 6 times per year) by ensuring bags and supply lists are ready for the kids
Inventory & Errands
- Monitor and restock household supplies (pantry staples, paper goods, laundry supplies, pet food)
- Manage running supply lists and coordinate Instacart orders for groceries and household needs
- Handle light local errands including donation drop-offs, Amazon returns, and occasional dry cleaning pickup
Pet Care
- Walk dog daily and let him out as needed throughout the morning
- Schedule and coordinate grooming appointments (approximately every 6 weeks) and arrange drop-off and pickup
- Monitor and reorder pet food and supplies as needed
Vendor & Property Oversight

- Manage pool opening and closing scheduling with the pool maintenance team
- Track routine home maintenance needs (air filter replacements, water softener salt) and create a reminder system to stay ahead of them
- Coordinate with the biweekly cleaning team and ensure the home is prepped for their visits
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
- Support holiday and event prep (for example, Thanksgiving hosting) — ensuring the home is stocked, organized, and the cleaning team is scheduled accordingly
