About Our Family

We’re a warm, welcoming family navigating an exciting new chapter as we settle into life with our new little one. Our home is a busy and loving place, and we value creating an environment that feels comfortable, organized, and ready for whatever the week brings. With a young baby at home, we’re adjusting to new routines and looking for someone who can help bring a little more ease and balance to everyday life. One parent travels regularly for work and works from home when not traveling, while the other is home with our little one and looking forward to gradually returning to her work outside the home. We also have a sweet, friendly family dog who is very much part of our household.

We take pride in our home and love having family and friends visit to spend time with us, and we enjoy being able to open our doors and make people feel at home. We appreciate the details that make a household feel welcoming, from a well-stocked kitchen and freshly laundered clothes to thoughtfully organized spaces where everything has a place. We’ve had great organizational systems in place in the past, and we’re excited to find someone who can help restore and maintain that sense of order as our family grows and our needs evolve.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being the steady, thoughtful presence behind the scenes. The start of our week will be especially helpful for resetting the home, preparing a few healthy staples for the week, catching up on laundry, and getting organized for the week ahead. Other days may involve errands, restocking household essentials, tackling an organizational project, or helping us prepare for guests. While household management is the primary focus, there will also be opportunities to care for our baby for a short period when an appointment or work commitment comes up. We value flexibility and understand that each week may look a little different, so we’re hoping to find someone who enjoys variety and can naturally move between tasks as priorities shift.

Most of all, we want this to feel like a positive, collaborative relationship. We appreciate someone who takes pride in their work, communicates openly, and genuinely enjoys making life easier for a family. We hope to find someone who will become a trusted, consistent part of our household and grow alongside us.

Who You Are / What We’re Looking For

You’re naturally organized, proactive, and someone who takes pride in creating order and making life easier for the people around you. You enjoy organizing spaces, managing laundry, running errands, preparing for the week ahead, and anticipating what a family needs before they have to ask. You’re excited by the opportunity to build on those skills in a position with a greater focus on household management, while still feeling comfortable providing occasional care for an infant.

You have a warm, calm, and easygoing presence, along with a strong sense of initiative. You notice what needs attention, take ownership of tasks, and feel confident maintaining existing systems while offering thoughtful ideas for making them even more effective. Whether you’re getting the house back in order after a busy weekend, making sure household essentials are replenished, or coordinating the little details that keep family life moving, you approach your work with care and follow-through. You’re trustworthy, adaptable, and comfortable working independently without needing constant direction.

You also understand the importance of reading the room and being a thoughtful presence in a family’s home. When a parent is home with the baby, you’re comfortable working quietly and independently in the background, giving the family space while still being available when needed. You can shift gears when priorities change, welcome feedback, and communicate in a natural, friendly way that builds trust.

Above all, you’re looking for a relationship built on trust, open communication, and consistency. You enjoy being a reliable partner to a family, take pride in the little details, and appreciate a role where your contributions make a meaningful difference every week. If you love creating calm out of chaos, bringing organization to a busy home, and helping a family enjoy their home and time together a little more, this could be a wonderful position for you.
