Commercial Concrete Former

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial Concrete Formers for projects located in or around Phoenix, AZ. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-$34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

- Build, set, pour, and strip gang forms

- Erect, place, and remove concrete deck shoring systems

- Set rebar racks and move rebar as needed to clear tie holes

- Perform stick framing using plywood and 2x4 materials

- Work with snap ties, cowbells, and fiberglass Sigma Rod systems

- Assist with concrete placement activities as required

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

- Follow all project safety requirements and jobsite procedures

Requirements:

- Previous concrete form carpentry experience

- Experience building, setting, and stripping gang forms

- Experience with concrete deck shoring systems

- Knowledge of rebar placement and formwork operations

- Ability to perform stick framing using plywood and dimensional lumber

- Experience with snap ties, cowbells, and fiberglass Sigma Rod systems preferred

- Must provide tools of the trade

- Must have and be experienced in the proper use of a personal fall protection harness

- Must be willing to travel to Casa Grande, AZ, as project needs require

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools

- Must provide and wear proper PPE

- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
