Supply Planner (18-month Temporary Position), Supply Planning, Arla Foods Ingredients - Aarhus

How you will make an impact

As Supply Planner, you will be responsible for short-term supply planning and execution with our external production partners. You will translate demand requirements into executable supply and production plans and follow up on their execution. Working closely with our external production partners as well as Demand Planning, Procurement, Quality, Logistics and Customer Care, you will help balance supply and demand, manage deviations, and ensure reliable deliveries to our customers.

Your main responsibilities will be to

- Balance demand and supply on a short-term horizon and translate demand requirements into executable weekly supply and production plans
- Manage order handling, allocation and logistics flows between external production partners and our supply network in SAP to support customer demand and service levels
- Work closely with our external production partner to ensure plans are executed as agreed and proactively address deviations
- Collaborate with Customer Care, Quality, Procurement and Logistics to resolve supply issues and secure required documentation
- Facilitate operational planning meetings with external partners and internal stakeholders to align priorities and resolve shortages, delays and other supply constraints
- Monitor supply performance and proactively respond to changes in demand, capacity constraints and operational challenges
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, ways of working and collaboration with our external production partners

You are structured, proactive, and comfortable working with many moving parts at the same time. You enjoy coordinating with different stakeholders, following up on activities, and finding practical solutions when plans change. You take ownership of your tasks, communicate clearly, and are comfortable driving progress across functions, organizational boundaries, and external partners.

Furthermore, you likely bring

- Around 2-4 years of experience within supply chain, logistics, production planning, customer service, or similar operational roles
- Experience working with ERP or operational systems. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage, but advanced expertise is not required.
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Solid analytical skills and proficiency in Excel

- Fluency in English; Nordic language skills are an advantage

The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark, and occasional travel within Scandinavia may be required.
